With the start of this new year, those of you who are members should soon see Volume 42 of our newsletter. One of our resolutions for 2022 is to produce two newsletters this year, submit a story or other content to help us succeed!

Our next work session will likely be in February at which time we plan to wrap us some work on #18 and take one more step to completing our track extension. We are also working on finalizing a couple dates for #18 to operate this year, stay tuned.

For the first time in months we had the opportunity to do a days worth of work in Independence. It was a small, mostly local crew that tackled three projects: reassemble #18 and continue the annual work, spread out track materials towards the final end of track, and install our #9 frog and continue work on the switch. A very productive day and a half!

We will soon be working on an end of year newsletter and a couple of operations for #18 in 2022 so stay tuned. Another 2022 goal is to put together a new volunteer email list, stay tuned for that if you are interested. And lastly, please keep us in mind for those end of year donations, they are always welcome and greatly appreciated!
