Aberdeen was originally knows as Tibbets and was a water stop and sheep loading point. The water tank was supplied by a windmill powered well until 1949. The area was located in somewhat of a natural sink, which gave it a lush feel in a land otherwise populated by sand and sage. Today, little remains at Aberdeen save for some foundations and ties.
