In February 2018 the CCRW and Laws Railroad museum traded boxcars. CCRW received #15 which prior to its time on the SP served the Lake Tahoe Railway while the LRM received #13.
Once in Independence #15 was placed on trucks and over time will be restored to operation for use with locomotive #18.
